Family Office CFO, Reddy Group
Tim Cunliffe is the Chief Financial Officer of the Reddy Group Family Office, a role he has held since July 2020. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Tim leads the Group’s finance and commercial activities across the Asia-Pacific region, sits on the Group’s Investment Committee, and in recent years has played a key role in establishing its Singapore Family Office structure.
With over nine years at Reddy Group, Tim has worked closely with family Principals to drive growth and diversification of the Group’s global interests. He has overseen the expansion of in-house finance and investment capabilities, led group tax planning strategies, and played an active role in M&A and broader portfolio rebalancing initiatives.
Tim is a Chartered Accountant and member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), and throughout his career has worked with organisations across the tourism, snowsports, information technology, and viticulture industries. He is also a certified snowboard instructor, and earlier in his career, taught snowboarding in New Zealand and North America, reflecting a lifelong passion for the mountains and active pursuits.
Managing Principal, 18 Capital
Pooja Budhrani Gurbani is the Managing Principal of 18 Capital Pte Ltd (18 Cap). 18 Cap is a Single Family Office headquartered in Singapore and manages assets that include direct investments, private equity, venture capital and liquid securities. It was established to preserve and grow the family’s wealth for current and future beneficiaries.
Pooja is the second generation of the Budhrani Group whose foundation was built in agricultural commodity trading between South East Asia and West Africa in the 1970s. Budhrani Group grew into a multinational conglomerate with interests in IT, Manufacturing, International trade, Construction and Real estate. The group has operations spread over several countries including Singapore, Dubai, Indonesia, UK, Nigeria and India. Group companies include Stellar Construction Limited Nigeria, Budhrani Finance India, Naraindas Essardas & Sons, SAMTL, Reliance Towers Limited, PT Shinta Budhrani Indonesia, Budhrani Realty Singapore and more. In addition to business interests, the Budhrani Family is also very active in philanthropy. The family foundation has funded many good causes through the Budhrani Trust Charity in Lagos Nigeria, Mission for Vision, Sunshine Trust, St Mira School, Sadhu Vaswani International School, Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital Pune, Morbai Naraindas Budhrani Cancer institute, Fabiani and Budhrani Heart Institute and much more.
Pooja spent years gaining experience in the field of finance and Investments prior to forming 18 Cap. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics with a Bsc (First Class Honours) In Management Sciences. She worked at JP Morgan London, Neptune Capital New York and Crescent Point Asia (recently sold to Ares management). Pooja is an active member of YPO and serves on the Executive Committee of Singapore Lion City. She is also an Advisory Board member of Bolttech an international insurtech headquartered in Singapore.
CEO & Investment Manager, Amsbach Enterprises Private Limited
Petya is the CEO for Amsbach Enterprises and heads her Family Office’s investment activities in Singapore.
She worked within the marketing, consultancy and operations departments of the Amsbach Group; the family shipping company which was founded in 1973 and specializes in Marine Sector Oil & Gas Support Services and Logistics with a focus in South East Asia. She previously worked in Corporate Finance in London and in the Environmental Department in a Shipping Company in Hong Kong.
Petya grew up in Singapore, and is an alumni of both Tanglin Trust and UWCSEA. She holds a Masters in Geography from Oxford University and a Masters in Quaternary Science from Cambridge University. She undertook paleo-climate research at the Institute for Environmental Physics at Heidelberg University for a year under a Cambridge – Heidelberg scholarship and paleo-genetic research at the McDonald Institute in Cambridge. She has also taken several executive courses at INSEAD including the Family Business Programme and is active within the close-knit Family Office Network in Singapore.
Partner, Blauwpark Partners
Veiverne is one of the Founding Partners of Blauwpark Partners. He has extensive experience in institutional Asset Management, particularly in relation to alternative assets. He also has a deep understanding of the nuts and bolts of asset management including a strong regard for good governance and compliance, having begun his career in financial services and investment management in 2005 with the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a regulator, focusing on fund management and other capital market intermediaries.
Subsequently, Veiverne joined Rabobank in 2007, where he led M&A and advisory transactions for clients from both Asia and Europe. Among the Asian clients he served, a number were large family-owned businesses and Veiverne gained not only an understanding of the mergers and acquisitions space, but also the intricacies that allowed these families and their businesses to be persistently successful across generations. During this time, Veiverne also championed ESG early initiatives in Asia and represented Rabobank as a member on the inaugural Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). In 2010, Veiverne’s joined GIC. In addition to leading investment selection and due diligence for alternative fund investments and direct investments, Veiverne was also responsible for helping to determine the strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and managing capital budgeting for the PE, VC and infrastructure portfolio.
He also oversaw regular reporting to the Board and the client for these asset classes. Veiverne brings a practitioner’s insight to the implementation of endowment style models to manage long term pools of capital seeking meaningful capital appreciation over the long term. More recently, Veiverne was a co-founder of tryb Group, a principal investment firm focused on financial services and financial technology investments in Southeast Asia. He holds a MSc in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University and a MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
