Graham, who, along with a new generation of investors, is building wealth with Bitcoin and digital assets. With more than 30
years’ experience launching and listing companies on the ASX, two decades as a public company director, and early
leadership in blockchain investment, Deryck will deliver a state-of-the-game analysis on cryptocurrency and its implications
for investors today.
Over 30 years experience building and listing companies on the Australian Securities Exchange and 19 years experience as a public company director.
Deryck cofounded ASX:QHL, Australia’s largest independent advanced composites aerospace defence contractor, now with over $1 billion in contracts; supported the launch of ASX:RCE, a listed pharmaceutical company with a unique synthetic antiviral and antibiotic technology; and in his formative years co-founded, joint ventured and then sold Eagle Aircraft (which now forms part of Malaysia’s billion-dollar aviation industry).
He has been an active investor in the blockchain space since 2017, is the co-presenter of the weekly podcast Beyond Bitcoin and has engaged his passion for collectable cars into a charity event known as Classic Cars and Coffee, now the largest regular specialist car event in the Southern Hemisphere.
Greg has over 25 years’ experience in traditional financial markets, encompassing asset management, capital markets and investment research. Greg has worked as a research analyst and head of research in both the funds management and stockbroking professions utilizing his skillset of financial modelling, company valuations, business model/strategy analysis, industry & market trends evaluation and economic analysis.
Greg first started looking into digital assets, specifically Bitcoin, in 2013 although it wasn’t until 2019 that he became more involved in the ecosystem as an individual investor. Having experienced first-hand the 2021-2022 boom-bust cycle of the cryptocurrency markets, Greg has developed a disciplined approach to buying and selling digital currencies.
Greg has a B.Com, majoring in banking and finance.
