Priyavrata Mafatlal will share his perspective on sustaining legacy while embracing innovation, the mindset required for intergenerational continuity, and how values-led leadership can serve as a compass for growth in a rapidly changing global environment.
Priyavrata Mafatlal is a fifth-generation entrepreneur and industrialist who holds multiple leadership roles across the Group’s businesses. He serves as Managing Director of Mafatlal Industries Limited, one of India’s oldest textile companies, is a Board Member of NOCIL Limited, India’s largest manufacturer of specialty rubber chemicals, and a Director at Vrata Tech Solutions, the Group’s digital innovation arm. A Harvard Business School alumnus, Priyavrata is known for blending deep-rooted family values with an innovation-led vision. Under his leadership, the Arvind Mafatlal Group has diversified into high-impact sectors such as EdTech, Health & Hygiene, IT, Food & Beverage, and Renewable Energy.
Beyond business, he spearheads the Indivar Foundation, the Group’s social impact arm, which focuses on education, healthcare for women and children, girl-child empowerment, rural development, and sports for development.
Across business and philanthropy, Priyavrata is building institutions that are future-ready, purpose-driven, and socially anchored, fusing heritage stewardship with innovation-led transformation.
