AI is reshaping the way we live and operate — but for many family offices, it remains misunderstood, underutilised, or approached with unnecessary caution.

Designed for family office principals and advisers, this practical workshop demystifies AI, covering everything from how large language models actually work to the emerging world of autonomous agents that can execute complex tasks independently. Through real-world case studies— portfolio optimisation, due diligence automation, and intergenerational knowledge transfer — participants will see where AI delivers genuine value in a family office context.

The session also tackles the hard questions: governance, human accountability, Australian privacy law, data sovereignty, and regulatory compliance. It closes with a four-step implementation roadmap to help family offices move from AI-curious to AI-enabled, securely and confidently.

This masterclass explores:

  • Where AI can deliver immediate value in a family office — from sharper investment insights to faster, more efficient operations
  • How AI tools and autonomous agents can enhance decision-making while preserving human judgement and control
  • Practical ways to streamline due diligence, reporting, knowledge management, and portfolio monitoring
  • How to manage risk through strong governance, privacy safeguards, and compliance with Australian data and regulatory requirements
  • A clear, practical roadmap to help your family office adopt AI with confidence and measurable outcomes
