Richard Milroy
Founder & Executive Director
Richard is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Private Wealth Network, and also founded several other specialist events and publishing companies in the areas of wealth management and sustainability. Starting his career at the International Herald Tribune in Paris, he then moved into specialist trade publishing and investment conferences based in London and now Sydney.Richard’s vision is to form knowledge networks where people connect face-to-face at events, then continue their relationships through online platforms. His focus is to assist members to share and gain new knowledge and understanding, and hopefully to inspire them too.
Richard holds a BA (Hons) in European Political Science with Modern Languages, from Newcastle upon Tyne University, UK.
Alan Duncan
Founder & Executive Director
Alan is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Private Wealth Network, having previously founded and run an events and media business catering to high-end corporate and private clients.He spent some years working for The Economist Group in Japan, Europe, the Middle East and Africa facilitating government and industry dialogues. Alan provided commentary on economic and business matters as well as running conference, research and corporate membership businesses.He holds an Executive MBA from the Philadelphia based Temple University (Tokyo Campus) and a Bachelor of Arts from Newcastle University, Australia. Alan is Chair of Impact100 Sydney, a community-based collective giving program.
Jan Loubal
Head of Marketing, Communications and Events
Jan leads the development and execution of comprehensive engagement strategies that enhance brand presence and foster meaningful engagement across Australia and New Zealand. He oversees a diverse range of initiatives, including event management, internal and external communications, and marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the organisation’s broader objectives.
With experience at renowned firms such as Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company, Jan brings extensive expertise in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex events, communication and marketing projects that make a significant impact at Private Wealth Network.
Rory McDonnell
Head of Partnerships
Rory has over two decades of experience in the publishing and advertising industry. Starting his career as a sales executive at IPC Media (AOL Time Warner) in London.
Rory rose through the ranks by demonstrating skills in market analysis, client relations, and strategic planning. His ability to understand the evolving landscape of publishing—ranging from print to digital transformation—has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions and business models that meet the needs of a diverse client base. Since arriving in Australia over 12 years ago he has worked with one of Australia leading private publishers (Private Media) generating revenue via native content, digital campaigns and business events. Throughout his career, Rory has successfully negotiated high-value contracts, led cross-functional teams, and implemented key initiatives that have significantly contributed to the growth and profitability of the organisations he has been part of.
Monique Meinrath
Head of Membership, People, Culture and Operations
Monique is Head of Membership, People, Culture & Operations at Private Wealth Network, where she leads with clarity, connection, and commercial acumen. With over 15 years’ experience in high-value membership organisations, Monique is known for building trusted relationships with influential leaders — from globally listed CEOs to government ministers and HNW individuals — while driving operational excellence behind the scenes. Her strength lies in bringing structure to complexity, aligning people and processes to deliver exceptional member experiences, and navigating diverse stakeholder needs without losing sight of strategic outcomes. With a degree in Management majoring in Marketing and minoring in Spanish from Bond University, Monique combines people-first leadership with a strong business mindset — and always keeps the big picture in focus.

Membership Director – New South Wales
Dorothy has experience working as a financial adviser in Singapore for 5 years. Dorothy was born in Singapore and raised in Perth.
Dorothy’s studies were originally in nursing and fashion design which led her to work in a variety of different industries.
During her time as a financial advisor in Singapore, no matter where she travelled her passion was always to connect and communicate with people from all walks of life.
Melissa Humphries
Membership Director – Western Australia and South Australia
Melissa is the Membership Director for PWN in Western Australia and South Australia. With a background in high-end event management and business administration, she is passionate about creating meaningful member experiences and building strong relationships.
Originally from country WA, Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Swinburne University and brings a calm, proactive, and people-focused approach to everything she does.
Lisa Rothfield-Kirschner
Membership Director – Victoria
Lisa is passionate about supporting family offices, business families and founders through impactful education and meaningful experiences. She is dedicated to building community and fostering strong relationships across Victoria.
Lisa’s professional background spans account management, sales, partnerships, marketing, and philanthropy, including her work with the Jewish National Fund (JNF). She is committed to delivering value and excellence to PWN and its stakeholders. A finalist in the Australian Women in Security Awards, Lisa is also the author of the Amazon best-selling children’s book, How We Got Cyber Smart, which helps parents, caregivers, and educators start important conversations about online safety for primary school-aged children. She has partnered with the Department of Education to provide content for the Cybermarvel program and collaborates with Cool.org to further promote online safety education. Lisa regularly contributes to Women in Security magazine and was nominated for the Unsung Hero Award at the Australian Women in Security Awards.
Raised across Fiji, Southern Africa, Israel, and Australia, Lisa brings a unique cross-cultural perspective and a genuine passion for connecting with people from all walks of life. This dedication to building rapport and meeting the needs of others has underpinned her success across the technology sector, not-for-profit organisations, and the boutique alcohol industry. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Hospitality Management.
Tayla Biddle
Membership Manager – Queensland and New Zealand
Tayla brings a blend of creativity, organisation, and professionalism to her role at PWN. She holds a Bachelor of Design from the University of Technology Sydney, which has sharpened her attention to detail and project management skills.
Before stepping into her current role, Tayla’s journey began in the heart of a small coastal town, running her family’s long-standing café, where she built meaningful connections with loyal customers through personal interactions and a welcoming smile. She expanded the business to offer event management and catering services, successfully growing it into a thriving venture that catered to both intimate gatherings and large celebrations. Through this, she honed her ability to deliver high-quality service and attention to detail, ensuring every event was thoughtfully planned and executed.

Allison Crowe
Membership Coordinator – Victoria
Allison is a dedicated events professional with a diverse background that includes hospitality, farming and community services.
With over five years of experience working primarily at 5-star hotels in Cairns, including her role as Wedding & Events Coordinator and Food & Beverage Manager, Hilton Hotels. Allison has a proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences.
She holds a Diploma in Event Management from William Angliss Institute in Melbourne as well as a Diploma in Library and Information Services from Box Hill TAFE.
Gee Lee
Membership Manager – Western Australia and South Australia
Gee has extensive membership organisation experience. This includes working for a non-for-profit member association that supports professional athletes with their off-field career and development including sponsorship, media, marketing and player welfare. She was involved in the introduction of the The Rugby Union Players’ Association (RUPA) Foundation and social responsibility program as well as organising various charity events. Gee is also a Volunteer Lifeguard and Nippers Age Manager.
DJ McLean
Queensland Team
With over 15 years of experience spanning family offices, FMCG brands and business transformation initiatives, DJ McLean brings a unique blend of strategic acumen and systems-level insight.
DJ holds an MBA and an Honours degree in Psychology, with theses on corporate divestiture and resistance to change, and further academic credentials across law, business, IT and marketing. Specialising in systems thinking and cybernetic frameworks, DJ designs self-regulating models that drive clarity, efficiency and high performance execution.
Known for strategic leadership in structuring transitions and delivering scalable outcomes, DJ excels at defining the frameworks that enable organisations to adapt, transform and thrive.
Rachel Vainer
Membership Manager – Victoria
With over 20 years in financial services, Rachel brings a rare combination of strategic insight, people understanding, and operational strength to her role as Membership Manager. Her background spanning financial planning, risk, and assurance gives her a holistic view of how organisations operate, equipping her to anticipate member needs and design experiences that deliver real value.
Known for her exceptional stakeholder management, Rachel excels at building trusted, long-term relationships and working seamlessly across teams to create a cohesive and engaging member journey.She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Diploma of Financial Planning, enabling her to blend empathy with expertise. This allows her to navigate complexity, understand diverse member perspectives, and foster a community where people feel supported, connected, and empowered.

Xanthe Baker
Event Operations Specialist
Xanthe is passionate about travel and connecting with people, bringing a wealth of experience in event planning and communications. Having recently spent two years living in London to travel and explore different cultures, she brings a global perspective and a fresh approach to engagement and community-building.
Xanthe enjoys creating memorable events that bring people together, ensuring every interaction and event is engaging and rewarding.
Xanthe holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Western Sydney University.
Sita Bala
Brand Communications Manager
Sita has held a number of senior communications positions, including many years as Press Officer at Chatham House in London working on events, conferences and media calls with visiting Prime Ministers, Presidents and international dignitaries. Sita was also Head of Corporate Communications & Media Relations at the Sydney Opera House for five years. Along with being spokesperson, she delivered communications campaigns for major events including, Millennium New Year and Sydney 2000 Olympics, opening of The Studio venue and re-engagement of architect Jorn Utzon to work on design principles for the building. Sita has also been a Publishing Editor for the Commonwealth Secretariat. Sita has worked on brand and communications campaigns for many organisations and events under Sita Bala Communications.
She holds a BA Hons. in Political Science & Film Studies from Newcastle upon Tyne University, UK and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from City, London University.
Sandra Duncan
International Insight Tours Manager
Sandra’s career spans a variety of industries including luxury brands, tertiary education, travel and stint at the United Nations prior to joining PWN as a founding team member. Having lived on 5 continents her experience covers team leadership, marketing, brand management, finance, accounting, IT and HR. Sandra has been applying her love for travel and logistics with attention to detail to deliver amazing PWN Insight Tours, since their introduction in 2016, alongside her role as Finance & HR Manager.
Sandra holds a degree in Economics from Temple University, Japan.
Mariela Escobar
Communications Specialist
Mariela brings five years of experience in strategic communications across government, tech, health, education, and the not-for-profit sectors. She is passionate about translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and nurturing the meaningful relationships that form the heart of PWN’s community.
She has a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) and Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Marketing & Events Coordinator
Talar contributes to the planning and delivery of marketing and event initiatives at Private Wealth Network. She creates engaging content and designs, and supports the seamless delivery of events that bring members together and encourage meaningful connections.
With a background in architectural design and experience across marketing and events, Talar combines creativity with a keen eye for detail. She enjoys working on projects that enhance the member experience and contribute to the organisation’s goals.
Scott Singh
MarTech Specialist
Scott is responsible for the planning and delivery of communications strategies that support member engagement and elevate Private Wealth Network's brand. His work spans digital marketing, content development, website management, and event communications—ensuring each initiative aligns with the organisation’s broader goals.
With over eight years of experience in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, Scott brings technical expertise across email marketing platforms, content accessibility, web design, and analytics. He plays a key role in crafting clear, effective communications that resonate with PWN’s diverse audience and enhance the member experience.
Timothy Wong
Head of Programs and Event Services
Timothy brings more than 30 years of expertise in leadership development, strategic facilitation, and transformational program design to PWN. Drawing on a global career, Tim guides the development of PWN’s national and international event calendar to ensure our gatherings deliver meaningful learning, connection, and impact.
At PWN, Tim curates thematic direction and designs innovative formats that elevate Member engagement. His ability to convene diverse voices, distil complex ideas, and create inclusive environments enables the delivery of experiences that spark insight, foster dialogue, and strengthen our community’s collective wisdom. He works closely with Members, partners, and thought leaders to curate speakers who bring depth, relevance, and forward-thinking perspectives to the issues shaping family dynamics, investment and philanthropy.
